If in the same area again, can you walk to a closer / different position and still see the drone on the area of odd behaviour? If so I’d be tempted to set loss of signal behaviour to hover rather than RTH, then get closer to re establish connection

I only use indoors. Very useful if flying in narrow spaces or close to fragile fixtures/fittings

Unfortunately there’s still a lot of people that fly way beyond VLOS. If this was the case drone operator probably didn’t know helicopter was on site.. This is the sort of behaviour that will end up with even tighter restrictions on where or how far you can fly.

I’ve got the same problem, sent it to dronedoctor.co.uk, £110 to repair. I’ve tried to repair one in the past with limited success…

Most importantly, take off so outward flight is into the wind and return is with wind. Otherwise battery left may not be enough to make it back.

@Dartos1 Many thanks. Controller arrived today and works fine :). Saved me money & hassle trying to find one on eBay or similar

Once you’ve downloaded the flight logs you could try powering up the drone and recording another video. I’ve done this when a video hasn’t completed and it’s fixed the problem
