Oh dear oh dear oh dear. FCC move to remove existing DJI gear, and all derivatives / those made by shell companies and any UAVs that feature any component they deem a security risk now, or at any time in the future from their 'approved' list...
Too late for that, they've already "evolved" in so many ways; can't stop now. I've already mentioned paragliding and hot air ballooning and there's skiing and rock climbing and white water rafting and a bunch of other modern activities because...
I agree whole heartedly. The parks are for everyone's enjoyment and the slight noise a drone puts out is negligible. Regulators don't even try to accomodate drones and it's very unfair. Remember these lands are for the enjoyment of everyone...
I believe DroneScene (membership via GreyArrows) is a viable alternative as well, for at least seeing where these zones are - I am told they get their FRZ / NFZ / NOTAM information from elsewhere, and it is certainly still showing for me there.
