It will have logged itself out of your DJI account, so it will be restricted in range and altitude until you log back in, which you can do wherever there is WIFI, or via a mobile hotspot if out in the field... As for updates they are somewhat optional - it will probably fly fine without them...

The M4P has ways to detect if plus batteries ae used, and possibly if the prop guards are fitted, but not, as far as I know, to determine if anything else is attached to the machine. Therefore I would guess you are not broadcasting RID.
