I live on the side of a mountain range. When I fly up the mountain, I could go up 3000 ft while still maintaining 400 ft AGL (no law broken). If I fly down the mountain, then I'm just looking at houses. Up is way better.

Not always a joke and may cause relief. I don't use a landing pad so I can't speak to that, but "landing protection" prevented my MP from crashing one time. She was coming down after a RTH and instead of being in the middle of my patio (from where it took off), it was halfway over the parapet...

So far, so good.

Been flying flawlessly since I got it in May. However, the **** pilot needs to learn to keep the camera focused!

I grew up in TN, and Gatlinburg is a target rich environment for a flying camera.

I've had my MP for 6 weeks now, and I'm loving it! I really appreciate the enthusiasm and level of information available on this forum.

It seems like that clear plastic reinforcement around the ribbon cable was put there to protect it from just such a problem. Maybe it needs to be thicker?

I think the iPad Min 4 is perfect for flying. I also use the MavMount for it and couldn't be happier.
