Try this: 1. Power up Drone 2. Power up Controller 3. Once controller stops flashing, attach plug to Controller 4. Make sure iPad is powered off then attach the other side of the plug to iPad It should start up on its own 5. Open DJI Fly

Thanks, lost RC connection to iPad pro a week ago and have been searching for a solution. Followed your instructions. Shut down iPad after connecting RC and turned back on. Problem solved.
