hi from North Pole, Alaska. If wind is an issue consider a larger drone if you can afford it. I fly my Mav3 and 4 in 20mph wind without thinking about it. I fly in 30mph wind with some caution (flying INTO the wind...).

I'm not sure what you mean by "glitching and lagging". Could you explain that in more detail? if it is "judder"... the film being jerky on playback, that is most often due to shooting at 24 or 25fps instead of 30fps because our monitors operate...
Get a case that the drone fits into and throw the gimble cover away. I don't actually throw mine away in the event I'd want to sell it but after I took off my gimble cover it never went back on. I just put it back safely into my hard shell case.
