I can't see that it would cripple 3rd party apps otherwise why would DJI create an API which is there for third party developers to create apps.

The last that I heard was that Litchi for the Air 2 was in beta, but there were problems with the SDK. If Dronelink could get a workable product out, they must have had an SDK, so it makes me wonder about Litchi

I was under the impression that DJI released the SDK around the end of last year, they must have released something as I have Dronelink and it is working fine with the Air 2

The reason I think you will find is that Litchi do not at this time support the MA2, it has been in beta for a few months now but not released in production for the MA2

I have just calibrated the sensors, and they calibrated fine. so it probably was the weather conditions. I will test fly it in clear weather and check it all out. Many thanks for your assistance in this.
