Welcome - most of the Gorge is open to flying as long as you stay away from Multnomah and Wahkeena Falls. For the most part the airspace around PDX is the only real restricted area. Most of the OR coastline is open to fly in other than a few areas near Bandon and Cape Arago.

Yup - I have a pretty nice drone right now so I can wait for some real specs to come out of DJI info releases.

The key questions I have - what are the camera sensors and what are the resolutions? Focal length doesn't really tell me much of anything about what I can expect for image quality. The price points so far compared to high quality camera gear aren't even vaguely shocking.

Fully agree - I bought an RC Pro for my Mavic 3 and am using it now with my Mavic 3 Pro. I really can't imagine going back to the RC-N1 and have two of them sitting on a shelf collecting dust.

The RC-N1 was the first controller that DJI included in the box when I first bought my Mavic 3 Fly More package. All of the above comments about the display being hard to see in bright sunlight are entirely correct. Yes it will work with the 3 Pro but it sucks IMHO.
