    lost mini 2 first day

Really happy to hear you got your drone back, can you tell us more around the circumstances on HOW you found it, where, etc.. ? Bit light on the details there :-)

seems my Mavic 2 Pro needed a submarine mode (or at least be able to float)

Wanted to give folks here with an update to the state of this incident, if nothing else to understand how fast (or slow) they have moved on my situation, and to provide hope and for transparency of their support. Long story short - after contacting DJI, they agreed this would be cover under...

    firmware update 06.01.0670

Can anyone confirm if the DLog-M 6400 ISO trick still works after this update? I'm unfortunately droneless currently and can't check this for myself, but will want to hope i can still do this after the update if/when i get a replacement Mavic 2 Pro..

3D printer required in the UK for Getterback mount

@Ping^Spike It's been a while so the answer might be obviou by now but, did you ever get this done? wondering how well it works I have a 3D printer here in the UK, so will give this a try if i ever get a replacement drone (unfortunately learned of this a bit too late), if you still need can...

    .DAT Files Being Deleted.

If one has them in the first place or is able to catch them before they're wiped.. Indeed i'm starting to suspect (as you alluded to in another thread) this is NOT DJI Go 4 specific afterall. I also checked an IOS backup of my iPad prior to manually syncing and no *FLY*DAT files were...

    .DAT Files Being Deleted.

That's a cool workflow for sure, but I'm using the DJI Go 4 app and trying to figure if this warning about auto-sync also applies to DJI Go 4 as being the reason i'm missing my *FLY*DAT files, now that i'm in real need of one. I located the MCDatFlightRecords directory on my iPad, but it's...

    .DAT Files Being Deleted.

Just to clarify, is it only the DJI Fly app? or does this apply at all also to DJI Go 4 app ? Asking as I now have a real need for these missing *FLY*DAT files but they are no where to be found on my mobile device (iPad), and having now lost my drone i am wondering what causes them to be...

seems my Mavic 2 Pro needed a submarine mode (or at least be able to float)

Impressive indeed, wish my Mavic 2 was this intelligent the-day-of the incident, but going back to this: I am not sure why i am missing the *FLY*.DAT files from my IOS-based DJ Go 4 app.. Per sar104's excellent post which i read fairly thoroughly: I copied all files via iTunes to my Desktop...

seems my Mavic 2 Pro needed a submarine mode (or at least be able to float)

I've heard of issues with the Mini, i thought it was a design flaw of the mini. Sad if there's other Mavic aircrafts that also can have this issue :-( That's the thing, although _I_ was not applying full forward elevator, the craft seems to have been doing this, and while I only applied full...

seems my Mavic 2 Pro needed a submarine mode (or at least be able to float)

Thanks for that experience, I actually have only recently (within last few days) became aware that if i _did_ have DJI Care Refresh that they would required the old drone to be sent back (which wouldn't be possible in this case), so i don't feel as bad having not purchased/registered for this...

seems my Mavic 2 Pro needed a submarine mode (or at least be able to float)

In addition to the log analysis i previously linked to (not sure how long that link is valid for), the more detailed AirData share link is here. Below are my responses to the replies so far: I don't have any such DAT files on the mobile device, which end in FLY031 (or any files that have FLY...

seems my Mavic 2 Pro needed a submarine mode (or at least be able to float)

UPDATE: i've uploaded the .txt file (mobile .dat seems empty and aircraft .dat is unaccessible due to loss of the aircraft).. What is available from the event is now visible here To me it looks like the aircraft only updated home point (still acquiring satellites) after 6 seconds, and then...

seems my Mavic 2 Pro needed a submarine mode (or at least be able to float)

I was attempting to film off a moving sailboat, just off the coast of Spain (about 10nautical miles northwest of Cadiz, where we were offshore heading towards). I had filmed twice already off this same boat the day before (while moving) and the day of (at anchor). As my previous flights were...
