Two years ago I purchased a medium size power bank that I keep in my car all the time. I'm happy I purchased it as I now have the MP4 with the 240W charger that uscks up power at a crazy rate when charging my MP4 batteries. I have four batteries and the charger allows me to fly all day.

DJI will not provide you with compensation because they are not responsible for the government seizing your drone. I doubt that DJI is going to ship the Mavic 5 Mini to the USA only to have shipments locked up in a storage and seized.

The best overall drone if money is an issue is the Air 3S. Itsells at a reasonable price and delivers awesome video and photos. I sold my Air 3S when I purchased my Mavic Pro 4.
