    Mavic Pro Battery Mod

Ha. That is a very good point, I'm surprised it hasn't come up yet. The problem with using a second mavic battery is that it would need to be taken out of its housing. The battery outside of its housing is not cased well (its shell is not sturdy). Also, once the battery is taken out there is not...

    Mavic Pro Battery Mod

Nice results, just out of curiosity what propellers are you using?

    Mavic Pro Battery Mod

The cost really varies. If you already own a LiPo/LiHv charger then all you need are the external batteries, a good one costs around $22. The mod is available for I believe $40 + shipping. You could also make your own pretty easily with some simple tools. The strong lock Velcro is around $4. The...

    Mavic Pro Battery Mod

Now that's what I'm talking about! Cruzroy that is perfect, light weight and perfect support as the weight of the batteries will also hold the mount down.

    Mavic Pro Homepoint

Yes it is a problem for sure, I understand your frustration all to well! Most people who seem to have this problem have an iphone on at&t, but I am honestly not sure anyone is really sure of why this is happening. I wish Dji would make an official comment on this it would clear up a whole lot of...

Things you wish you knew when you started

Make sure you calibrate the sensors when you first get the drone, and at least after every software update!

    Mavic Pro Battery Mod

I really like the external battery mounts as it is a lot easier and would make the process of setting up the mod slightly faster and a lot easier. Cruzroy has provided these two mounts I like these both, the problem I see with the first one is that not all batteries will fit and you will...

    Mavic Pro Battery Mod

The max of 650 g doesn't mean you should go any where near that much weight. At least for me the max I would go is 300 g and I still wouldn't feel completely safe flying.

    Mavic Pro Battery Mod

Thanks! I will keep this in mind. I never really thought about matching the external batteries with the Mavics, I would love to know if anyone has tested this and how it differs from the LiPo's performance.

    Mavic Pro Battery Mod

I like thunder power and rhino batteries, if you plan on using two batteries I would go between 910 mAh and below 1500 mAh as this will keep it fairly light. I have found that I don't need any more then 910 mAh do to the fact that I can get two good flights from them before I feel I need to...

    Mavic Pro Battery Mod

I have been reading about this and I do like the idea of hardwiring it to the Mavic, it would be easier for certain people who will always use the mod. For me I like the ability to be able to take the mod off with ease. Considering that they both seem to do the same thing I would say it is up to...

    Great Mavic backpack

There are multiple types of this bag, the grey one has a customizable liner while the black one has a permanent foam liner. I opted for the black one as I thought it would be more protective. However, they are both very good cases!
