I'm hesitant to second guess the best consumer drone design engineers on the planet over a few grams of weight reduction on the Mini 5 Pro. I do believe they just may have taken a look at the options before releasing it for production. -

Readers digest. 250 or over is illegal. Air Canada says no cops are packing scales. He will fly his Mini5 as if it's under 250. Everyone should use their own judgement.
