Have tried flying a few toy like drones and got nowhere with them. I met a friend of mine in India who uses Mavics and Phantoms for filming at functions like weddings etc. He let me have a go with his Mavic and it was great, far easier than anything I had tried to fly before.

I am a retired Marine Engineer, but spent eleven years in India doing voluntary work. I am now back living in the UK.

I want to use the Mavic for taking videos and stills of paces where I can't gte to with a normal camera.
