Well I was doing a great job flying my Mavic down a creek and had my VPS off was about 4 or 5 feet from the water, flew up to 200 feet to avoid trees completely forgot that my VPS was off pull down the stick all the way, next thing I hear was a big thump, my Mavic was on it's side, didn't hurt...
This Mavic is like a Cadillac compared to my Parrot Bebop.
Only one down side is I had to get a ipad mini 4. My galaxy tab a didn't connect to the remote right.
And the tab didn't support the 4k video.
I have noticed with my bebop that it will drop to X-height when flying over banks and other drop offs, like it has a built in terrane follow mode.
will the mavic stay at X-height or will if drop like a rock.
