Thanks everyone, I'm really excited with how they turned out!
For the day shots, I set the camera up to shoot in 16:9 RAW and custom style of +1 Sharpness, 0 Contrast, and 0 Saturation. I used an iPhone application called Camera + to import each picture and slightly adjusted the clarity of the...
I just want to give AyeYo and Hidaven another shout out because taking stills in jpeg was totally causing the compression issue I was seeing in my first set of shots. We had some major storms that moved into LA earlier this week so my MP had to stay grounded until yesterday. Based on the prior...
I think you and Hidaven hit the nail right on the head (palm to the face)! I was shooting with jpeg instead of RAW this morning and I'm sure that is the cause of my concerns with the pictures. Thinking back to my P3P, I was shooting in RAW which would explain why the pictures I took today look...
I don't know, maybe it's all in my head?! I feel like looking back at my P3P pictures, they are crisp and clear compared to what I took today. I also feel like some parts of the image aren't focused. For example, on the first picture I posted the Stop Ahead written on the road towards the top...

Zoom in a little bit on the pictures and you'll see what I'm talking about, more so in the first image. The tree's all run together and everything in the background looks like a water color painting.
I just got my MP yesterday and took it out for a maiden flight this morning. Made sure that all firmware is up to date on MP/RC and just flew it around my neighborhood to get acquainted with the controls. I had a P3P before so I'm already use to the DJI eco-system and various settings /...
Yes, they're actually ahead of schedule which is impressive. I ordered mine on 01/05, received payment confirmation on 1/10, shipping notification on 1/12, email with tracking information on 1/13, and delivered to my doorstep today.
Couldn't have gone any smoother and I'm glad I waited an extra...
