From Newport, VT at 400agl Right in the middle of Totality with my MA2. I took quite a few pictures, and this is definitely my favorite, and probably most unique, compared to everyone else's.
I had a few action cameras, my Canon on a tripod, and my Drone in the air for the Eclipse this time around, and, honestly, I'm most proud of the Drone shots. I think I nailed the exposure just as the eclipse was finishing up, and the eclipse is clearly visible, and the shadow across the clouds...
Thank you. This was my second attempt at a long form video like this, and surprisingly it has been by far my most popular video yet with almost 200,000 views, so I think it's doing ok. I know this type of video isn't for everyone, but I know at least some people like them!
Thank you! I usually have an ND Filter on, and it depends on the lighting. Bright sun is usually a 16 or 32. Cloudy and dim, usually a 4. And I mostly take it off if I'm filming sunrise or sunset. I know I used everything rom a 4 to a 64 in this video at some point!
Here's my best video yet. It's another long form one. I filmed it last winter, and am super proud of how it came out. The opening shot is one of the coolest things I've managed to film so far. Let me know what you think!
That opening shot with the fog is absolutely incredible. The closing shot is also top notch. The high elevation snow mixes well with the low elevation earth tones. Beautiful video. Where was that viaduct? that was really neat. Nicely done!
That's incredible. nice job. I suggest you put some thunder sound effects in there. even just some royalty free stuff you can find on the internet. It'll make it a little more enjoyable!
Thank you!. I actually cheat quite a bit with my yearly recap video. After 2020, I decided I was just going to use the same music every year, because it's awesome, so I saved a template fil with the music and all the transitions marked and then I just slap all the shots in, usually in...
Thank you! Yeah, it's hard to cram a lot of cool shots in just a few minutes, but I'm also trying to balance people losing interest by making it too long. If you're looking for a slower video, might I interest you in something else? My most popular video by far, has a lot of beautiful Winter...
Thank you! I was fortunate to get a lot of flying in this year. Those were actually Bald Eagles. I didn't know they were there until my drone was right there. Looks like mama is in the nest in the center of the screen, and papa is outside to the left.
