Hello, I am a commercial pilot, CFI/CFII turned full time videographer who recently got into drones! I am going to take the written for the FAA Remote Pilot in February. My drones are a DJI Mini 5 Pro Fly More (over 249 grams) and a 7 inch FPV cinema drone I am building. I travel between Shoreline, WA and Las Vegas, NV.
I spend most of my time filming airplanes and all things aviation as I no longer fly professionally, however that may change after I get my drone license, so, in a way, I will still be flying commercially.
I thought adding drone footage to my videos of things aviation related would be a way to enhance my content and have fun doing it. I think big wide establishing shots of different areas will be fun to pursue.
Since I am new to the drone scene any and all suggestions, tips and ideas from other members is much appreciated!
