    Texas flooding and drone rescues

Might be an unpopular opinion but I believe this would be the PERFECT time ti welcome the public to look for missing people. More eyes in the sky would give a better chance of spotting someone in need or danger. Yes, I know the authorities "know what they're doing" but still, 100 people can...

    Inexpensive drone cases

A ballpark cost of what this service would charge would be helpful. EDIT: It looks like they have the price on the first page, calculated by your dimensions. A 12X10X4 was around $90 for just foam I can think of a lot of different ways to customize a drone case to allow everything needed to...

    Flying Near Immigrant Detention Center

Back in the prohibition days, there were "kits" you could buy with explicit instructions on what NOT to do with the kit, otherwise you'd "accidentally" make an alcoholic beverage. What people should NOT do is buy a drone, not register it, and then fly in areas they shouldn't fly. If they did...

Can i take my drone to canada will there be any issue in the border

Slim chance of getting searched at the border but the chances are NOT zero. I was searched on my last trip to BC. They didn't do a deep dive but went through my bags. It wasn't a hit from a dog either. They just told me to park and wait and a few minutes later I was being told to go to the...

    Oh... Look! Adorama has...

Being fair, two of the motorcycles were free. Below is the two free ones along with the two Mercedes and one of the Sports cars. That's the tow truck driving away after dropping them off.

    Oh... Look! Adorama has...

I'm just going to throw this out there. I paid less for my TWO SUVs,, TWO Sports cars, and THREE motorcycles combined! There's not enough actual cost of manufacturing to justify that price for a photography drone.

I don't want to be "that guy" but the world now accepts it either way.

    Inexpensive drone cases

I'm not advertising for Harbor Freight! This may only be pertinent to US folks. When I bought my Mini 4 Pro, it came with a case. I wasn't impressed with the case so I bought a different one from Amazon. Today I was at Harbor Freight and saw they had a case that was almost identical...

Fell out of sky, now stuck in tree.

I didn't even realize the OP was from the Portland area. The OP hasn't replied to the thread so it's unlikely we will know more info but the bottom line is if one doesn't know which tree, or where in the tree, it's not going to be easy to get someone to get it down. I used a tree service...

Anyone bought from Canada and had it sent to US?

Let us know how it goes. I don't know if customs is checking packages from Canada private parties or not. I used to have a friend who went to Canada every May. I should have asked her how the customs declaration was when coming back to the states.

Launching from boat - Mini 4 Pro went straight into the sea

And yet so many crash into the water for no reason. Perhaps the correct statement isn't "no-one has ever" but more that "Rarely people have had problems with radio waves getting scrambled". Specifically GPS signals. Maybe some of the satellite signals ARE bouncing off the water. Most of the...

Launching from boat - Mini 4 Pro went straight into the sea

I don't know if anyone has considered this about flying over water. Water is reflective. Radio signals are, essentially, light. So, it kind of makes sense that a radio device that relies on super critical radio waves, might get confused on water with constant changing reflective surfaces.
