How To Verify Drone Registration with just SN.

To All, First off, I am located in the USA and refering the US Federal Aviation Administration only. I received a loaner, Matrice 350 RTK drone today, from a commercial drone reseller. I have it for a week. I am using the loaner to familiarize myself with it, before doing a training class...

The Argument Against Banning Chinese Drones (Part 5) by Chris Fink, CEO of Unmanned Vehicle Technologies

That has been my position from the beginning of the talk about banning Chinese drones, really it is about destroying DJI's large market share on the drone hardware industry. This is US capitalism at work... Why build a better drone for less or the same amount of money, than the competition...

    Flying around Turbine Wind mills

The problem with flying around wind turbine farms is not so much the electrical interference. Where do they usually install wind turbines, windy places... and since you mentioned a Mini 4 Pro, you are a very light drone and prone to be much less stable in windy conditions. Good luck though.

First day with Mini 4 Pro. Returning it tomorrow.

ND filters do not affect picture quality, they simply allow you to stop down the amount of light coming into the camera lens and eventually hitting the sensor. They will not affect color or polarization unless it is a polarized ND filter. They come in very handed when you do not have an...

Obstacle Sensing Setting for Mavic 3

Hello All, On the Mavic 3 Enterprise Series, the obstacle avoidance system has settings you can adjust in the Pilot 2 App. With these settings, you can set the sensitivity distance. I can't find any settings like that for my original Mavic 3 (1st generation). Am I missing something? Does the...

Mavic 2 Pro is now RID compliant

I use an app called Drone Scanner and it works, just really slow at detecting and updating, I could never get OpenDroneID to work. I have also experienced that iOS devices do not work at all right now, with any apps. I have heard that the type of Wifi signal that comes out of the Remote ID...

Neutral Density filters do nothing more than decrease the amount of light reaching the camera sensor. They do not effect the quality of the image in anyway. They do not saturate or effect color balance at all. It is to reduce f-stops when you have a fixed aperature.

    High Visibility Vests

As I mentioned early in the post time is money. It is not that I do not want to explain to the general public that what I am doing is actually really work and legal. But to do so safely, I would be forced to fly my drone back to the take-off location and land, wasting valuable battery...
