I swapped mine to T-P-A as I use Atti for smooth video. I have no use at all for Sport mode, and learning to fly in Atti mode will make you the better more experienced pilot, more capable during any emergency. As to the warranty, I would suspect it would be void. Regards

One of the first things I did was alter the parameters, losing Sport Mode, and making the switch position into Atti mode.

Non-replaceable batteries is unforgivable on any device. Screen is great. I wouldn't have bought the SC had it been iOS based, I'm very glad it's Android.

For me, this is local feature to fly around, and early morning there are very few people about. The footage is ideal to for me to put some synthesizer music/textures behind that I compose/perform. cheers and regards

Thanks for the photos. Can you explain how the black box is attatchd to the Smart Controller? That area is pretty busy what with the two customisable buttons and more importantly the air intake and fan vents. I was thinking of designing some kind of 3D printed frame/clips that would just clip...

My major concern was there was a corporate branded and labeled water supply Land Rover parked up. I really didn't wan't a tap on the shoulder while half way through out over the water. It disappeared before I started, after that it was a breeze.

I didn't disable the sensors, I was way above the water, 30 feet or so, and as a first flight didn't plan on any surface skimming.

I shall, it's just chosing the right location and time, this was a a bit hectic.

Footage could have been better, safety concerns took precedence over cinematic shots. It was good fun, and the colour grading works well. cheers and regards

Exactly. I have found mine runs a little warm, the fan kicks in, but it isn't toasty hot. I may design and knock up some kind of minature laptop cooler stand out of aluminium with external fan, battery powerpack, sell them , make millions and kick it back in the Carribean...

I added a screen protector straight away, and I also cannot praise this highly enough , the engineering dimensions are spot on...

Thanks for the advice. I installed a protective glass screen from day one. I would not have bought the SC if it had any association with Apple/iOS. I'm glad DJI made a sensible decision.
