Is there a simple way to find last know coordinates?

Yes, connected goggles to iPhone via cable. The map then showed the drone location as being several miles away even though I know the drone was only 800 - 900 feet away.

It depends on how you value $500. If you’re willing to risk $5000 to save $500, and not be upset if you lose the 5k, try it and keep your fingers crossed. If you’re not in the mood to handle losing 5k, spend 10% more and relax.
