Hey @Starstuff,
More like s case!
Specifically started in the new statutes "It is illegal to use a drone to carry baited line out into the water to help you cast".
Guess I'll go back to using my kite....
@Starstuff
I STAND CORRECTED!!
NC Wildlife does infact ban fishing or "casting" with the drone. I'm guessing the resident Game Warden is either unaware of the rule or it has changed since Oct 2021 when he stopped by our surf set up and watched us deploy cut bait beyond the breakers.
Yup, no...
NC bans "fishing" with drones. Having valid fishing license and carrying the baited line attached to a legal rod and reel out and dropping it does not fall under that ordinance according to the Game Warden patrolling Emerald Isle and Swansboro. He's never given me any problems.
Before using your compressor, be certain it is a waterless compressor. Most compressors of any size have a means of draining condensation that build up. Try spraying your bench top with nozzle very close to the bench top. If you see small water droplets, I wouldn't use it to blow out the drone...
How have you stopped the controller from charging the Tab A in the Fly App? I prefer the Androids and use them with all my drones except the Mini's. Can't stop Fly from charging the Tab and it eats the battery quickly. :-(
Can't argue with that Meta4, That was just the first tablet handy when I started out the door. Normally lives with the SE.
Wish I could find a Huawie, but alas, not to be had in NC. Thanks
AC 1.00.050
RC 1.00.050
Flysafe 1.00.01.17
Flysafe Database 1.00.01.18
App 1.2.1
Ipad Air 2 started with full charge. Now showing 39% but will not launch and hold DJI Fly. (25 minutes flying on one battery)
The Mini and RC perform perfectly but Fly and the ipad are not playing well together...
