My guess is tha there are some internal changes that will prevent older firmware installation and parameter changes. I can't imagine why else they would release a nearly identical model.....on the other hand, I guess quite a few will upgrade just to have the latest....

The time for being able to roll back firmware may suddenly end with one of these updates.

You're not even close. You obviously don't understand the NFZ issue. You will learn more about this with time and reading (other) forums .I have no issues any more....I now have the best drone in the world in my view. Flies great, no limitations, no forced updates. I'm trying to enlighten...
