Wish I would of gotten the filters before the trip but the camera does a pretty good job on its own. Anyone that enjoys hiking should really look into this trail highly recommended.

Glad you got to have that experience and get some cool footage especially that close to shore. I was fortunate enough to be able to video humpback whales this year although it felt like looking for a needle in a haystack filming over a mile out to sea..

After an update a while back I noticed I couldn't find the option to see the grid lines on the screen. Hope it's something simple I've overlooked and not something they've gotten rid of. Thanks for any help.

Finally got to use the mavic for what I was really looking forward to. It's a bit tricky to video let alone locate them but it's truly an amazing experience to view from an aerial perpsective.

I stepped on mine first week and repaired the cracks with duct tape, pretty ugly but does the job for now. Think they could and would have built a sturdier cover but maybe saw it as another way to profit from replacements.

I'm using an Android s6 by the way. My friend received his mavic in late December and used his iPhone 6 and was unable to use the DJI GO because the image was distorted on his screen. That problem may have been solved now but he currently uses the original DJI app as well.

Same as Motley. Been using the original DJI app and only updated I believe once back in November. I flew pretty extensively while on a trip to Iceland middle of Novemebwr and didn't have any issues there. I just took it out today for the first time in a few weeks and everything still has worked...
