If you purchased the drone within the last 14 days (or possibly 15, depending on whether drones are considered "activatable"), you should be eligible to return it under the Best Buy return policy.
If Best Buy doesn't do the right thing, consider sending it to DJI for repair. I've seen nothing but good reports about their repair work (often a replacement drone) and the prices.
If you know what you are doing and don't mind paying for the pairing service you should do it yourself. Just remember you are voiding any warranty and if you make a mistake as you put it back together the money you would have saved is gone plus...
