Not very close. Although technically they are required by law to follow the rule or get a waiver from the FAA which some do. Here is perhaps an example although we need to ask @DagDerniT how certain he is the drone followed him for a few miles... -
New here but not to flying. Have my 107 and I’m a Certified Professional Inspector for residential and commercial properties and a certified roof inspector. Happy to join this community.
