    FCC mode in CE area

I’ve just done it. Pretty simple. Set your fake gps. Then turn on the drone and remote and phone/tablet. A message appears that you have changed regions, select yes. The controller disconnects from the drone. While this is happening you need to turn off your wifi otherwise it’s going to ask you...

    FCC mode in CE area

Does changing from ce to fcc have any implications towards your warranty and refresh package? Hate to think I’m getting a little more range at the expense of those?

Just got MA, very disappointed in range and noise.

When I fly my air it’s normally around 100 to 200 meters away. At that range I can hardly hear the drone and signal is solid. If the noise is an issue I’m sure your flying really close to your self. A solution would be a selfie stick with a cam on the end. Silent I. Sure. For its size and...

    Goggles for my Mavic Air.

Battery dropped from 53% to 0% ,almost lost my MA

I posted Dji email in this thread somewhere, but they said to drain it below 8% or till it doesn’t turn on then charge it up and do the process again.

Battery dropped from 53% to 0% ,almost lost my MA

I’ve since drained to below 8% on all 3 batteries as instructed by Dji and have had no issues. Maybe give it a try.

Also the cells didn’t fail. The ma was still flying. It was just the display on my phone that said it was o

Battery dropped from 53% to 0% ,almost lost my MA

That would make sense and Dji must be thinking the same as they asked me to run the batteries down to 8% and recharge in hope it might recalibrate the batteries.

    Mavic Air Fly-away

This is the official line from DJI: Visual Inertial Odometry (VIO) A combination of VIO technology and the new positioning algorithm has doubled the Mavic Air's precision positioning. VIO technology calculates the speed and attitude of the aircraft in real-time and locates it, making...

Battery dropped from 53% to 0% ,almost lost my MA

Is it a possibility that I could reinstall the firmware on the battery? With the assistant. I did all the updates via the app when I first got the bird.

Battery dropped from 53% to 0% ,almost lost my MA

Yes the landing battery was above 50% on both flight logs but not on the iPhone screen and not on the led indicator on the battery , but the rth option wasn’t available because the ma thought it was critical low battery so it auto landed.

Battery dropped from 53% to 0% ,almost lost my MA

I really find it hard to believe it could be a bad battery as it happened to my 2nd battery on my second flight. Unless I’m really unlucky. Dji are treating it like 2 separate faults and offered a solution for both. But I’m sure it’s linked and has something to do with sport mode. Looking at...
