Flew the drone today for the first time since I got it back from DJI and everything is perfect. They did however send me a new drone instead of fixing mine (different serial number) but I’m not complaining ;)

Yes it was close. I look at it like this, if you have a successful flight, you’re not going to come to a forum and let everyone know. So there very well could be ( and probably are) hundreds of successful flights for every 1 issue you read about. I would think the numbers are in our favor.

I agree. I was over water 2 minutes earlier in the flight.

Joel, thanks for your input. So the battery was good for six months before this incident? We’re there any signs of an issue? Also, did you have to send in the drone or just the battery?

i would have to agree with you, that was my thinking before even seeing any data. Do you think DJI will help me out being that it wasn't user error? also, how did you make this graph?

Flight record:

DJI brand battery. Both drone and battery were brand new. Gimbal seems to move freely when power is off. The drone didn’t hit the fence and I have video of the landing and it seems the gimbal wasn’t forcefully moved. I will post the flight data in a minute.
