You can get a spectrum analyzer as an app on most phones. It will give you the noise floor, which you are looking for in determining the amount of interference in an area.

Here is a screenshot of the DJIFly App showing that at 2:22 the drone was in S Mode. So weird.

One thing I notice specifically is that when reviewing the flight in the DJI Fly app, it shows the flight mode changing from P to S to C. When viewing through air data, the status is always P-GPS

Does airdata work? I can see how lol. The pop up at the bottom of the screen shows the mode change, it pops up for 1-2 seconds then goes away. The upper part of the screen where the mode is displayed, never changes. Does AirData link work?

You should be just fine with that tablet.

The biggest concern is to make sure the processor is a 64bit 8x ARM CPU architecture. It's what makes certain tablets not compatible with the DJI Fly app. The other equation is memory. What else are you going to be doing with it? For example, if you are going to be streaming, running...
