    Canada .... True North

I tried to take the online test for my "advanced certificate" and wow, some of the questions were completely WTF. How your eyesight is effected at 10,000' ASL was one of the mind blowing "what" questions and SEVEN questions on radio communication rules with the tower! Looks like I've got a lot...

Canadians: June 1's comin! - Got your Pilot's License Yet?

I was looking at that Helix course and wondering if it would be worth the price of admission. I'm all new to this and was able to pass the basic test with the help of professor google and online materials from Don Joyce of "Don Drones On" but the advanced level certificate has me spooked a bit...

Was I short shipped or is that normal for slickwraps? Anyway, wanted a high vis colour and that sure is what I got, i think, we will see how...

Is one Landing Pad better than the others?

I already had a photographers 5in1 32" reflector and never used the green side so I put some white duct tape on it to make a H and am using this as my landing pad. Its thicker and heavy enough that the prop wash dosen't move it at all. I wouldn't buy one just as a landing pad but since it was...

You can now have your FAA Registration Number(s) printed on your DecalGirl Skins. No more "labels"

ok, by definition: "Permanent Labels: Designed for a one-time application, permanent labels use a strong adhesive that creates a strong, or permanent, bond between the label and the surface. The degree of “permanence” is determined by a combination of the adhesive, face material, surface...

You can now have your FAA Registration Number(s) printed on your DecalGirl Skins. No more "labels"

Ok, good to know, so just three weeks so far isnt that out of the ordinary to be waiting. What I find odd is a shipping label was created after 1 week, but it hasn't been accepted by USPS yet and when I inquired with customer service they got a little snarky with me for asking.
