I did it the long way...Brought it into Davinci and then rendered it in 1080p. :-(

I didn't think about using Handbrake to convert it from H.265 to H.264. Great idea!

I could play the video file fine but when I brought it into Resolve, it slowed down to a crawl. I'll try to use proxies to fix it. Thanks.

Thanks... I may try recording at 4K 30FPS and just slow down my movements. Just installed the new Fly App that allows me to micro adjust the gimbal movements. ?

I shot some video footage at 4K at 60 FPS (H.265 was the only option) and my computer couldn't handle that H.265 clip. It was so slow when editing in Davinci Resolve. I had to export it to 1080P just to use it. Why is there no option for H.264 at 4K 60 FPS? I using it to shoot a house so is...

I was practicing maneuvers this week and had a hawk circle my drone so I just came down to about 10 feet and she left it alone. Maybe next time I should just go straight up but I wasn't sure which way to go! ?‍♂️

This is exactly why I got the refresh insurance from DJI! I have a entire year to crash my drone twice and only be out $150. :-)

I studied for 3 weeks on and off and passed the first time. I didn't see many questions that I saw on all those practice tests. Good thing I didn't try to memorize the answers for those questions. Good luck!

I talked to the Project Manager at the US Army Corp of Engineering and he emailed me the forms to get permission to fly at the lakes (one is for recreational use and the other non=recreational). The forms requests contact information and date, time, location (attach a map) of the flight and...

I hope it is that easy. I don't see any drones when I'm at the lake so I'm thinking they are going to make it really hard to get permission to fly it on the lake. Not sure what the requirements will be. I'll post when I find out.

Not sure the park management knows. They can give you permission to fly inside the park area but probably not above the lake water since the US Army Corp of Engineering managements it. I left a message for the project manager of the USACE to find out when the special use permit is needed...
