I originally asked about the EASA exemption for drones BETWEEN 250g and 25kg, NOT under 250g.
I now have an HCAA table showing that legacy drones flying only in Open CAT A3 do NOT have to have RID.
Slup and FromBerlin have outlined the EASA regs that apply, but be aware that the Greek HCAA has at least one variation (insurance requirements). There may be others, so check with HCAA.

YES, but I bought my used CM-75C just before Christmas last year- I am very pleased with it - 3000 nits brightness makes all the difference and all the tools you will ever need.
I thought all drones flying under the EASA upcoming 1 Jan 2024 requirements were required to have some form of Remote ID, but I now see conflicting information on internet sites regarding legacy drones flying in Open cat A3.

I doubt if anyone would actually check that a non EU operator had registered in the first EU country unless there was a CAA reported accident. However those of us that live in the EU have to register in the country we live in - and there are checks such as our national tax numbers and address.
