The FAA t-shirt/vest is good, but a t-shirt that says “Yes it’s a drone, yes paid lots of $s, no not taking photos of your girlfriend, yes I follow the rules, you have a nice day too” should be better ;-)
By more batteries...loads more fun...bought combo pack for MP so after draining my 3 batteries that will be close to 1 1/2 hours of flying if not in sports mode...plenty time and fun to take videos or photos
Yeah ok...better than other states I suppose...and just so you know I do follow Casa rules, but it just seams like there is less places to fly now around where I live, so I plan trips in area where we are allowed to fly...let’s just hope the council doesn’t do big back flip due to the old lady...
If they ban parks you could launch from the pavement strip providing no pedestrians at the time and CASA indicates it is a fly zone...come on...banning parks or areas of parks is stupid...ok, not near playgrounds...I’m cool with that...but some parks in QLD is massive...and to allocate a one...
Whilst people here may think QLD gets it right...I don’t think so...as I follow CASA rules already, why can’t I just fly the drone...more and more people are staking their take on where and when making it more difficult for drone enthusiasts...sigh...why don’t try rather concentrate on fixing...

By the way I have posted some photos in the Photo and Video section of New England...took many more and video of course that I will compile later. Beautiful scenery where I was, but visit very short and window for flying hampered by the recent weather; still, I woke up one morning and saw clear...
Would have loved to film more around Boston, but time was restrictive plus there is airports everywhere I was,so this location was the only viable option during my visit, and about 45 min north of the city
My brief visit to the New England forest; also no longer a virgin pilot as I had my first crash; so far only minor prop damage after a cross wind controls panic in a tighter space around trees...trees 1, props 0 ;-))
Still, the beautiful scenery made up for my potential disaster (that is now...
