$1,000,000 liability insurance Kentucky State Parks

True, it covers you only if you were following the safety guidelines, per AMA/FAA.

$1,000,000 liability insurance Kentucky State Parks

Ama only covers you "if" you're flying from a sanctioned field. Not anywhere you fly.

Go take a look a Verifly. It's an app where you can get instant insurance for you to fly your drone. It has stipulations to follow but super easy and worth it. In 5 minutes you'll have insurance and it's inexpensive.

Anyone Know what this antenna is for?? Helicopter Belly Antenna??

This is most likely the transmission antenna for the live feed for the station to pick up on. Some use high power transmitters like this and some use 4G network data to transmit the same thing but a smaller antenna.

    How to rollback Mavic firmware

Look up dji super patcher. That'll get you flashed to where you want to be.

    Return to home at night

It flys via gps coordinates. Day or night conditions don't matter. The drone doesn't know any different. You just need to know the area you're flying in, to be aware of the surroundings so you fly into something you can't see.

    Return to home at night

It will return back to home location set when it took off. Just make sure you're not under any trees, also that your altitude is set to clear any tall trees and telephone poles/wires. Otherwise you know what will happen.

    DJI Aeroscope Scanner

Lol... Right, exactly. Everyone has given up their own rights to simply accepting that little msg to have access to everything on your phone. [emoji848]

    DJI Aeroscope Scanner

You've got to understand, this was produced and released after mavic pro, which by then the firmwares are now "non-downgradeable" and those firmwares include the Aeroscope compliance features already.

    DJI Aeroscope Scanner

The purpose is so it can be deployed during special events. Not exactly long term monitoring. Mobile for that reason, also in that very article, it mentions, the drone pilots can opt to identify themselves or not, along with their intentions. Simple answer, don't update your firmware and you'll...

    DJI Aeroscope Scanner

Btw, this was merely PowerPoint presentation presenting Dji's Aeroscope during the announcement. The part where it shows intent is pointless from my understanding being you and I don't input any bit of information when we go out to fly our Mavic's whatsoever in regards to intent of flight.

    DJI Aeroscope Scanner

Not exactly familiar with that part of aeroscope. However, I believe it's in relation to part 107 pilots who can declare their intentions if they like via an app. After looking it up, I found it's not required.

    DJI Aeroscope Scanner

Actually it shows private flights here as well. The delay is very minimal, I'd almost agree to call of live. It refreshes well enough.

    DJI Aeroscope Scanner

Lmao... Truth is... Yes. We've gotten calls left and right back when the city of Chino allowed the contractors build random new housing right next to the airport. Not long after it was occupied, we (helicopter pilots) we're told the left traffic pattern no longer to be used after ten pm. Which...
