Yup. I think that the more expensive DJI models do have upward facing sensors. I guess that there are size and price compromises with the Air.

I thought that adapter was designed to charge the MA batteries from a powerbank. I suspect there's circuitry inside designed to regulate charge rate etc and that's why you can't draw power out of it

Hmm..the circumference of the earth at the equator is around 40000 km. So nowhere on earth can be more than 20000 km from anywhere else on earth. I can't see any way that 77000+ km can be true no matter where it thinks that you last calibrated it.

Your range won't be affected by zones. If you try entering a prohibited area your drone will just not respond to the controls trying to get it to enter. You won't get signal errors. Have you flown that route before? Particularly without the range extenders. I've no experience of them myself but...

Yes you can. The ones with the white marks in the centre go on the motors with the white marks. It's possible to mount them incorrectly. Are you sure that you have the props on correctly? That flight pattern normally happens when they're on the wrong motors. You should have the white marks on the props mounted on the correct motors.
