All that matters is the footage. Once I see YouTube flooded with lots of independent reviewers “cinematic 4K footage comparisons” THEN I’ll be interested in seeing what they have to offer. Until then: it’s a unknown brand of flying camera of unknown quality.

Was it from walmart. com or purchased in-store? I went to their website and... it just looks so hinky, being a "marketplace" for all the other sellers. Weird that such a big retailer like WM can't just sell their own stuff. It's even hard to filter to just see items "sold and fulfilled by WM".

I’ve always had good luck with refurbished computers and other high end, manufacturer-direct products. I figure they’ve often been operator-error/remorse returns, DOA shipments that went out and then got factory personal attention to be refurbished. I’ve done a few Apple & Dell computers this...

Yeah, I do understand that -- just didn't know if the Mini and Mini 2 shared enough that it would work on either. Perhaps my newbie question would have better been worded: "What happens if you DO have the Litchi Mini Beta and try to link up to a Mini 2?"

Will that mean jerky video when moving and turning though? That was one of the main turnoffs in video quality for me on the Mini1. When people would spin, the juttery-lag-and-jerk drove me crazy. I am hoping for slow, smooth video. I might rather have 1080 and smooth than 4k and stuttering...

I see this line about the CEO’s disappointment with the Mini’s video quality trotted out as anecdote, but I’ve never seen the source. Does anyone know where that quote is? Like, is it in an interview or is it just coming from blogs repeating it as rumor-fact?

I've seen response from Litchi where they say they want to do this, and need the SDK, etc... But what I don't know at all and am asking - I don't have Litchi or any of the other aftermarket controllers, so I'm unaware of HOW to mate up a drone to the software... What happens if you have Litchi...

I assume the dumbed-down Fly app will -eventually- be able to be swapped for Litchi and suchlike. Has anyone tried it yet? It would be cool if follow-me modes, waypoints, and such could just sneak onto the MM.
