Similar to the mavic pro 3 who knows, I have just purchased a SC myself instead of waiting months in hope of a new release that may never come anytime soon. no regrets

M4 x 0.7 pitch and around 10mm in length but you may want some custom made ones to allow for the lanyard to attach. also other option is the bracket GPC Smart Controller Lanyard Bracket

I'm sure most people including myself store the battery in the drone but I won't be in future if this can cause a fault , thanks for the headups
