My issue occurred when the battery fell below 50% during the firmware upgrade via phone. By the time the firmware was downloaded, battery was too low.

I had the same issue, and posted it here, as have many others. Maybe a section for frequent issues would be helpful. Of course, nobody would agree on the best fix, but anyway... Glad you got it fixed. Here's the video that explains the fix you describe:

The introduction of a volume trimmer potentiometer which could be adjusted through a small hole with a micro screwdriver would be a welcome mod. This fix works, and is easy, but it definitely seems like a jury-rig.

Dahveed, the idea is that it's not a good idea to overload the gimbal by forgetting. Prevent the error, instead of remediating the issue afterwards. People (myself included) are forgetting to remove both the gimbal lock and the cover/dome. I suspect that the reminder badge on the dome reminds...

That's one way to keep your desk organized. Just keep the rotors spinning. No piles of paper or crumbs sitting around. The floor may be a different story... :)
