This is a known issue, Ocusync (communication between Mavic and remote) frequency is close to wifi frequency. The remote control might "push away" your wifi signal.

I alway unfold them, with three things in mind:
It only takes me five seconds to do so.
If there is a problem with the props, this is an extra chance to recognize it.
There's a big unbalance before centrifugal force straighten the blades which creates unnecessary load at the motor bearings.
If I follow your start up procedure, mine wouldn't see the aircraft as well. Never had a problem since I power up in the sequence: 1 app, 2 RC, 3 aircraft.
Haha, that's exactly what I do. Took it out of the box, always check the general status before take off, if everything is ok, it's ok. Never calibrated until so far, neither after the FW update.
I've seen 2 sliders for cinematic mode somewhere in settings. They were set at 0. Maybe that's the same stick setting as in normal mode? I haven't had time to try changing them.
The AF beep is annoying, but the way the focus works is very smooth. I like it more then constantly hitting the C...
Got mine as well, picked it up at Dronekenner yesterday. Any idea when you get yours Peter? Are you close to Amsterdam as well?
