This is what I suspected. I took the Mavic for a 40min spin yesterday with no issues, so I'm happy. Thanks for the input everyone.

I made the stupid mistake of trying to use the CSC shutoff in order to turn the motors off once I had landed - I had a brain fart. The Mavic went backwards and made contact with a wall at an angle, and before the CSC shutoff completed, a single motor shut down as its propeller struggled and...

Sorry if this has been asked before, but when downgrading, does it matter that the version of the iOS app will be ahead of the version of firmware for the device and controller? Cheers

Hover for iOS looks quite good - even has details of temporary flight restriction areas e.g. for NRL games etc.

Hi Jeremy, did you get anywhere with this? I've just contacted FPV Australia as they seem to have some info on their website, but it looks like some of the insurers are still playing catchup over here (contacted Allianz already, who said they couldn't help).

Will also be keeping an eye on this - am heading to Santorini in a few months. Thanks Hexagon!
