The Mavic 2 Pro does not need unbinding, correct? Is there anything I should do before selling, other than not upgrade the firmware, and do a factory reset?

I'm planning on selling my M2Pro, and just connected it with DJI Assistant, and I'm on firmware .0790, and I see .0797 is available. I assume it's OK to update? Just want to be sure that's not going to make it less useful, I'm not up to date on new RID issues, etc.

I'm loaning a friend my Mavic 2 Pro, and wondering, if he changes settings, will those be stored on his phone, or will he be changing my settings in the controller? Not basic camera settings, but more like drone prefs.

Well, it didn't cause any damage, and doesn't need to be towed away or anything. My registration number is still on the drone, so even with FAA registration cancelled, I'm pretty sure it could still be traced to me. As I said in OP, my concern is someone else getting it, and causing trouble...

I did have true VLOS and control. I can't imagine it disturbed wildlife, it crashed in a tree, within 50 yards or so of a highway. I don't have precise coordinates, but know roughly where it is. I'll consider notifying the forest service, thanks for the reply.

I've had my Mavic 2 Pro for a couple years, rarely if ever calibrating the gimbal, but lately it's been getting misaligned (crooked horizon) often. At my last shoot, it happened 2 or 3 times: horizon was crooked, I ran calibration, then it was fine. I haven't had any collisions or anything...
