You have to update the FlySafe database on your RC2 with the drone on and connected to remove GEO. Until you do, GEO is still active.

I did what you suggest - I took a welding class by just doing it! I welded and welded and got a beautiful 1/3 acre coyote resistant fence to protect our 3 fur babies - enhanced the property and cleansed my over-active mind - it was and is therapy.
