Yes, cause the drones were louder, more disruptive, and more hazardous to pedestrians and people sleeping (and doing other stuff…) in the dunes than all the OHV‘s, monster offroad trucks, and motorcycles were! -
If you use aircrack-ng to monitor data transmitted by your own drone, that should be legal in most jurisdictions. Try to collect data from someone's drone without permission would be illegal.
