NO ... you cannot disable the GPS receiver and that's the only thing that is needed to swap into Atti Mode. The other sensors have nothing to do with it.

You are right, I realized ATTI mode is not full manual mode like an FPV drone's, it will still try to hover in place based on baro sensor data, but no GPS to hold it in place.
