I would put lack of RID broadcasting far above visibility for VLOS! Last thing you want to be doing while flying BVLOS is broadcasting that fact, and your location, to everyone with an RID app!! Mini 4 Pro with regular batteries for the win! LOL! -

Never. However, the size of the drone can matter if you're planning to do something like attach LEDs to make it easier to see. Smaller drones have limited payload capacity and fewer accessory mounting options.
