The battery management I/C (chip) on the RC1A and RC1B controllers main board is prone to failure, which is another reason why the older controllers can't hold a charge. Perhaps a good alternative would be to scout out a reconditioned RM500.

You CAN replace the batteries in these. You can find them on eBay, a little cheaper on aliexpress, all of them being several weeks of shipping to come from China. I don't know if it's causing your linking issue, which could happen if they start...

I cannot upgrade my Air3 as it says not enough memory ! When I check it says 27 mbs used but in the photo folder it shows empty I have removed the SD card reformatted and still not enough memory Still showing 27 mbs used and still an empty folder
