Crossing my fingers for you. Mine was on my doorstep via Fedex within 24 hours after the company shipped from South Korea. Took them about a week and a half to actually make the shipment.

You can't turn off the screen on the RC1a or RC1b controller. However, if you connect your phone to the USB A port, you can connect an external battery pack to the USB micro charge port on the controller. It won't charge as fast as the controller...

No If you're referring to the store where you purchased the drone, you should contact them and ask them to unbind it from their test account. DJI accounts don't just disappear. They should still have access to any accounts they use for testing.
