Realistically, unless you are shooting cinematic video, you won't need the higher features of the Mini 5. If you're not flying at night, the Lidar isn't going to change things either. If you're going to buy a mini, the 5 is top of the line...

Of course you don't need a new drone. On the other hand, if you want a new drone just get it. It's YOUR decision only.

You don’t! LOL! Nobody does. It's a "nice to have" drone though, with some nice upgrades. Lots of YT comparisons available to the Mini 4 Pro. Here's one.
