    Changing the motors would require you to change the P.I.D. Data. Thats something DJI doesnt give its users access too,

    I usually just cut off and replace the connector. Note that the battery will likely be almost twice the weight which the heli may not appreciate in many different ways.

    Based on my experience, the adaptor should be ok- just be sure the adaptor's wire gauge is the same as the wire from the battery and the wire from the esc.
