SEE post #5....If you will be employed by the company as a drone pilot and that company has insurance then yes you need a part 107. Insurance companies don't insure "employed recreational pilots".

NO. It can only be done with the consent of the previous owner. Can you contact them? They need to remove the drone from their account, Simply deleting the app wont work.
